Business Manager

HOLGATE MEADOWS AND HERITAGE PARK SCHOOLS FEDERATION BUSINESS MANAGER

37 hours per week - 52 weeks

The Governors of Heritage Park and Holgate Meadows School’s are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, suitably qualified and experienced Business Manager to be responsible for all aspects of administration, central to the efficient management of the schools, which will include Finance, Human Resources, Site Management, School Administration and Marketing. This is an exciting new role to the federation which will cover both sites. Our schools successfully deliver learning and progress to BESD and complex need pupils built on the foundations of personalised learning, mental health support and partnership working. The Federation is unique in both the pupils and families we serve and the innovative approaches we take to ensure success and achievement.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Strategic leadership, management and financial experience and management of areas including Health & Safety and Personnel
• A recognised business qualification such as CSBM or other relevant professional qualification or can demonstrate equivalent experience.
• A high level of drive and motivation with the ability to motivate others
• The ability to contribute significantly to the strategic vision and direction of the schools and the Federation
• A proactive, innovative approach to school business development
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Good interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with different stakeholders and service providers
• Experience in the education sector (although not essential)
