We are looking to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic Caretaker to join our support team at The Links Primary school.

You must be able to work on your own initiative and be proactive in dealing with day to day tasks. You will be supported by the head teacher and administrators and you need to have the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and liaise effectively with all contacts. Security of the school building is also an important part of the role.

The role includes being a nominated key holder, opening and closing the building as a daily routine, also be required to secure the building for lettings, evening meetings and events both on weekday evenings.

They will be responsible for the operation, management and developments of systems and procedures relating to buildings and grounds maintenance, cleanliness of site and health and safety.

Qualifications relating to plumbing, carpentry or electrics although not essential would be desirable.

The ideal candidate will be committed energetic, flexible be able to work as part of a team have high standards and to take pride in the school environment.
