St Michael’s Catholic Academy is a popular school situated in Billingham.

We are looking to recruit a part-time caretaker (20 hours per week) to join our existing team of site staff and work under the direction of the Site Manager.

Experience in general building maintenance would be desirable. A full clean driving licence is essential, as the post holder will be expected to drive the school mini-bus when required. A two week shift pattern of mornings and lates will be required and flexible working hours, particularly during holiday times will be expected.

About St Michael's Catholic Academy

St Michael’s Catholic Academy was established as a state secondary in 1964 in Billingham, County Durham. It became part of Carmel Education Trust in 2013, along with a number of other local Catholic schools. 

Currently, the co-educational secondary caters for more than 800 pupils aged 11-16. St Michael’s intends to move to a larger, more modern site in the near future.
