Job overview
We currently have a vacancy for a full time Catering Assistant within the Catering Department at Cambridge Assessment.
Working as part of a team, as well as lone working some days, you will be responsible for providing high standards of food production as well as ensuring high standards of hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
Key responsibilities include assisting with the receipt and storage of goods within the catering department, food preparation such as sandwiches, rolls, buffet, and salads, cooking some basic items as well as washing up and cleaning duties. You will also be required to serve customers and operate the till.
You will also be required to push loaded trolleys and carry boxes and trays of refreshments in a very busy environment. A Basic food hygiene certificate as well some catering experience would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be given. Dependent on business needs there may be a requirement for weekend working during busy periods
