The Hall is a thriving and successful selective preparatory school for boys in North London providing a broad, high-calibre education for all of our 470 pupils aged 4–13. We aim to ensure a happy, secure and energetic community in which our pupils and staff can flourish.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced catering professional/Catering Manager to manage an existing team of in-house staff delivering high-quality catering services to pupils, staff and guests throughout the school terms. The role focus will be to deliver cost-effective, nutritious and innovative lunch menus to pupils and staff through the school’s kitchen and in-house catering team. The role will also manage the delivery of catering from our Sports Ground and daily Junior, Middle and Senior School requirements and to support hospitality events as and when they arise.

You will have previous experience in staff management together with the skills and knowledge of professional cookery. The successful candidate will, ideally, also hold a CIEH Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering or an equivalent qualification in addition to possessing financial awareness and knowledge of allergies and catering legislation.

The role is an all-year-round, permanent contract with the requirement to take annual leave in school holiday periods. There is the possibility of this becoming a term time + contract, which can be discussed at interview stage.

Located in Belsize Park, we are easily accessible on the Metropolitan, Jubilee and Northern lines.
