Catering Manager, Scale SO1 (£25,440 pro-rata)
Full time term time only plus 5 days
A Catering Manager is sought for our Silver Food for Life school kitchen.
- The successful applicant will demonstrate a passion and flair for food, and a desire to innovate and aim for the Gold award.
- They will be creative, forward thinking and keen to assert their professional style.
- They will inspire the kitchen team by example, helping them to broaden their culinary awareness and abilities and thereby improve service standards and quality of product.
The school operates a term only kitchen which caters for approx. 350 people on a daily basis.
- The successful applicant will possess a proven track record within the field of catering services and hold a relevant professional qualification.
- They will also be able to demonstrate administrative and management competencies within a similar catering environment with experience of online procurement and IT proficiency.

Holy Trinity Primary School is a large Church of England Academy in Central Halifax. We are a 2-form entry school, and have approximately 450 pupils on roll (including nursery). We are immensely proud of the diverse community that school serves and warmly welcome children from different cultures, religions and background. Holy Trinity was purpose built in 2005, and offers a fantastic environment for pupil’s to thrive.
The modern interior facilities include a large hall with apse area, ICT suite with workstations for a full class, library, Nurture Room, Cooking Room and media suite for a wide range of activities and group work.
Outside there is a large playground with trim trail, field, sandpit area, reflection area and a spacious woodland area including wildlife pond.
Holy Trinity is a friendly, caring and supportive employer with 70 staff. A number of volunteers help around school and there is a visible commitment from the Governing body.
