INTO University Partnerships (IUP) has formed a Joint Venture with St George’s, University of London (INTO St George's, University of London – INTO SGUL) to prepare students for studies in Medicine and Biomedicine and Health  Sciences and wishes to appoint a Chemistry teacher as part of the team developing and delivering this exciting and innovative project.

INTO SGUL is now seeking to appoint a Chemistry and Biology teacher for a September 2015 start.

Requirements
The appointed full time teacher to the post is likely to be teaching 20 hours per week. 

You will be responsible for teaching delivery of your subject within the INTO SGUL Foundation Programme in Medical, Biomedical and Health Sciences.  You will work with the Academic Director and the course team to help deliver a first class programme.

Duties will include the delivery of the programme, materials selection and design, devising the assessment of the programme, counselling students and ensuring that the students are provided with a learning environment and teaching which encourages success.

The successful applicants must hold a relevant post-graduate teaching qualification.  They must also be highly enthusiastic and have an imaginative and adaptable approach to the delivery of the curriculum area.

With a good Science education and proven experience in working with international students you will have excellent teaching skills, a high degree of attention to detail, good IT skills and an ability to work closely with international students.

Pay Band D
Pay Band Salary Range £28,782 - £38,939 (an additional 13% London Weighting allowance has been applied)
