We are seeking to recruit a well qualified and enthusiastic lecturer in Chemistry, to join our team of highly qualified, professional science teachers.

The teaching duties for the post will be across various curriculum including, BTEC level 3 courses in Applied Science, Access to Biomedical Sciences, Access to Health and Health Sciences, Access to Environmental Sciences and the Level 4 Foundation Degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Clinical Sciences.

An experienced lecturer you will have in depth and up to date knowledge and understanding of your subject discipline and a keen grasp of current teaching and learning methodologies that will equip you to teach across a range of courses to learners of all ages. You will be able to plan and design innovative and exciting lessons.

The role requires a high level of academic knowledge and experience in the subject area, along with a relevant degree and/or professional qualification. Candidates will have relevant teaching experience along with a teaching qualification or a willingness to obtain one. A commitment to equality of opportunity is essential.

All new lecturing staff must possess GCSE Maths and English (minimum Grade C) or equivalent. It is desirable that candidates possess assessor or verifier awards or other appropriate specialist training qualification.
