Students at the college are aged 15+, and educated in a co-educational environment in small classes. Around 250 students attend the college, with a significant contingent of international students. Students at the college will either stay with a pre-arranged local family, or in college-managed accommodation, although older students have the option of privately renting accommodation if they prefer.

Principal

Mr Mark Love

Vision and Values

Oxford Tutorial College offers a wide range of A-level subjects, with students having absolute freedom to choose whichever combinations of courses best suit their interests. This includes a number of more specific A-level courses that do not relate to previous GCSE subjects. The college itself works hard to foster a sense of independence and self-drive among its students, encouraging them to seek help when required, but work through challenges on their own as much as possible.

ISI Inspection

“The quality of the curriculum, teaching and learners’ achievements is excellent. Initial assessment is accurate and results in appropriate placement on courses. Diagnostic assessment on arrival, including assessment for SEND, enables the college to provide all required support from the start of the course. Course provision is excellent. All full-time courses meet the definition of an approved qualification for Tier 4 students as set out in Home Office guidance.”
