Two schools have since joined us, Leasowes High School in Autumn 2016 and Pedmore High School in September 2018, further strengthening an already thriving trust. In 2021 Rufford Primary School and Nursery became the first primary school to join our Trust.

Where we differ from other Multi Academy Trusts is our intention to collaborate, across our schools in every aspect. This means that our students, staff, parents and community all benefit from the culture we have created with our vision, mission and values, collectively known as our culture, the Invictus Culture.

We provide our communities with an excellent education, unique opportunities, and elite experiences. Our students love attending school and our team are proud to represent their school and Trust.

Whatever their starting point, our students make positive progress, with a perfect mix of academic challenge, pastoral care, and enriching experiences.

We are seeking a Chief Finance Officer to help us make a real and tangible impact to our schools and communities.

The role will be accountable for ensuring the provision of the consolidated financial reporting to enable the Trust to achieve its aims and objectives through effective and efficient management of its financial resources.

Our ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant, with extensive proven experience in financial account management, operating at a senior level and motivating a team. We require someone highly skilled in ensuring projects are well scoped and defined, implemented to time to costs, and outcomes and benefits are realised.

You will have significant experience of developing and implementing successful systems and processes including meeting the changing requirements of senior leaders and teams.

Able to work under pressure and deliver results in a complex role, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

We require someone with an open mind, able to handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy while also able to provide honest and constructive feedback where needed.

You will be committed to high professional and personal standards, and doing the right thing even in challenging circumstances.

At the heart of the role is a willingness to promote a culture of collaboration and joint working across the Trust and play a full part in the life of the Trust community, to support its vision, mission and values.
