About the role:

We are looking for a Class Teacher who will be an inspirational role model to our pupils and work with both teachers and the wider school community to establish a supportive and nurturing learning environment in which children make rapid academic progress. 

This role is suitable for Early Career Teachers.

About Ark Bentworth Primary Academy

Ark Bentworth Primary Academy is a mixed, non-selective school serving children of all abilities. Our commitment is to know every pupil as an individual, and to foster the principles of team spirit, responsibility and care for others.

Our vision is to aim high and achieve together. We achieve through the highest of expectations encouraging all to attain the highest standards. We learn together as a community through exciting opportunities. Our teachers are inspirational and prepare our children with the skills for life as citizens of the future.

We provide our staff with the tools and support to instil a strong learning culture in their classrooms. In order to deliver the best training and network events, we offer twice as many training days as standard. Our training doesn’t stop once our teachers reach a certain level or learn a certain skill – we support our staff throughout their whole career, from starting out as a trainee to running their own school.  

In order to enable effective teaching and learning to take place, good behaviour and safety in all aspects of school life is necessary. At Ark Bentworth Primary Academy we seek to create a caring and learning environment in the school by enforcing our strict behaviour and safeguarding policies.

Curriculum

We are committed to providing significant curriculum for pupils to master basic skills in English and mathematics from an early age. Ark Bentworth has an adapted version of the Early Years Foundation Stage and the National Curriculum, and has comprehensive curriculum maps to ensure that we cover all the statutory requirements during your child’s time with us. All children will also participate in the Ark schools arts programme. Every child at Ark Bentworth will have the opportunity to learn a musical instrument and some pupils may wish to take up individual one-to-one music tuition.

Ark Bentworth Primary Academy was inspected by Ofsted in November 2014 and we are delighted to announce that we were graded good in every category.
