CLASS TEACHERS

THINKING ABOUT A NEW TEACHING CHALLENGE FOR SEPTEMBER 2015?

The Rosedale Hewens Academy Trust sponsors a group of small but expanding primary schools in Hayes and the immediate area. It has a strong local presence and is keen to recruit high calibre teachers with effect from September 2015 in order to meet popular demand.

The vision of the Trust is to develop a collaborative network of small school settings where children are known as individuals, well supported and thrive. Applications are welcome from dynamic and professionally open-minded individuals who understand the value of working collaboratively at the leading edge of new ideas and approaches. Whether you are a new entrant to the profession or someone who is well established as an experienced teacher, it is essential that you have a genuine passion to make a powerful impact in your class, within your school and also in the wider community.

Successful candidates will already be fantastic classroom teachers who relish the opportunity to access professional development, including NPQML and NPQSL together with practical support on the ground. Our training programme at all levels seeks to raise awareness of emerging developments and prepare individuals for greater responsibility. The Trust encourages primary and secondary practitioners to work together in developing cross-phase learning activities.

Rosedale Primary is a 2-form entry school, co-located at the Rosedale campus. This new school was established in its brand new state-of the-art purpose built accommodation in September 2014.

Hewens Primary is also a 2-form entry primary school co-located at the Hewens campus. This new school was established in beautifully refurbished buildings in September 2013 and has proved to be extremely popular with parents.

Brookside Primary is a well-established school which has recently undergone expansion from 2 to 3-forms of entry in response to the rising demand for high quality provision.

About The Rosedale Hewens Academy Trust

The Rosedale Hewens Academy Trust was formed in June 2011 and now sponsors a family of secondary and primary schools in Hayes and the immediate area. With a proven track record of success, the Trust has played a critical part in driving the improvement agenda locally.  At the very centre of this Trust is Rosedale College, an oversubscribed 11-19 provider.  Working in partnership, Hewens College is also known as a quality provider that is ambitious for its students, and concerned to ensure the best possible outcomes are achieved for the learner.  Through strong partnership working, 'success is achieved through collaboration'.

The Trust is committed to delivering a curriculum which is broad and balanced, rich and varied, being flexible and responsive to each child’s wider needs.  With this in mind, Parkside Studio College offers a range of vocational courses for 14-19 year olds, with De Salis Studio College complementing the offer since September 2014.

Hewens Primary School opened as a 2 form entry free school on the Hewens College campus in September 2013 to complement Rosedale Primary School, which moved into purpose built accommodation in September 2014.  The Academy Trust also sponsors Brookside Primary School in Yeading.

On of the fundamental beliefs of the Trust is that children thrive in small educational settings where they are each known as individuals.  Across the provision, the Trust promotes a calm and ordered environment where children are encouraged to become confident, caring and articulate using their aptitudes and abilities to the full.  We aim to provide inspirational standards of teaching and learning and actively engage with parents, guardians and carers to ensure that every child succeeds.
