Oaklands is an outstanding special school serving the London Borough of Hounslow that provides specialist education to students with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple difficulties and autism aged 4-19. We have a Primary school (New Oaks), and a Secondary school (High Oaks). We are based across two different sites with both our school buildings offering state of the art facilities for our students.  

Due to the opening of an additional class group in our secondary provision, we are looking for a class teacher to join our friendly team in September 2024. We are eager to meet both experienced teachers and teachers at the beginning of their career who can join us in providing the best education possible for our students to prepare them for their lives. We believe that all of our students are capable of making outstanding progress and we want to appoint individuals who share our belief. Pay Scale:                   MPS – UPS

SEN Points (Point 1 or 2 dependent upon relevant SEN experience).

A TLR will also be paid if the successful candidate is interested in joining a     curriculum development team in addition to their teaching role.                

Contract Type:             Full time and permanent.

Induction:                     The successful candidates will need to attend a pre-employment induction on Thursday 25th July 2024.
