Job overview

Our federation, Great Oaks Federation, is made up of 2 primary schools and 1 nursery school and our vision is to recruit extra teachers to enable us to work creatively in year group teams, increasing the number of teachers who can plan and teach together, supporting each other and reducing workload. To make our plan a reality we need to recruit more good and outstanding teachers who can work together with our existing staff to make this happen. We are interested to talk to teachers from EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

We have a few ideas of our own about how we want to work but we are interested to hear your ideas too. We are interested to hear if you have an area of education that you feel particularly good at or would just like to have the opportunity to get involved with.

  • Do you share this belief and do you want to work in a school with this vision? Can you help us make it happen?
  • Can you work in a team of teachers to organise learning in a creative way? Do you have the flexibility and innovation to work differently?
  • If you are an experienced teacher who is good at their job, do you want to be paid well?
  • If you are an NQT, do you want to get the highest level of support with a commitment from your senior staff to do the best for you?
  • If you are ambitious, do you want to have the best professional development and do you want promotion?

If yes, then please apply?

When you visit, ask about other benefits available to our staff, for example mileage payments, private health care, subsidised childcare and research grants.

The posts are full time and permanent, although part time options will also be considered.

Please request an application pack for further details of the above posts. If you would like an informal chat about working in our schools, please ring and ask to speak to the Executive Head Teacher, Helen Richardson. Our primary schools are Wyberton Primary and Boston St Thomas CE Primary.
