Class Teacher

Salary: Main Pay Range 4 (£27,650) to Upper Pay Range 3 (£37,496) (depending upon experience)

The headteacher and governors of Cheetwood Community Primary School wish to appoint, on a permanent basis, a successful experienced primary school teacher.

The curriculum we provide has had much attention spent on it to ensure that it delivers the legal requirements as set out in both the Early Years Foundation and National Curriculums and is also relevant to the needs and experiences of our inner-city children. We are currently re-working the Y1 to Y6 curriculum so that it will meet the requirements of the new National Curriculum which becomes statutory in September 2014.

We have close links with Abraham Moss High School, together with other schools in North Manchester, Salford and Bury, essential for the smooth transition from Primary to Secondary education.
