About the role
- To carry out professional duties and to have responsibility for an assigned class.
- To carry out appropriate planning, teaching, marking and assessment activities so each child can achieve their potential.
- To be responsible for the day-to-day work and management of the class and the safety and welfare of the pupils, during on-site and off-site activities.
- To promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its philosophy of education.
- This is a fixed term, full time role for one year.
About the Academy
In their March 2022 Ofsted they commented that “pupils are proud of their caring school." They commended the school on the positive relationships, which was summarised by one of their pupils in the report: "‘Teachers don’t put you down. They pick you up.’”
The school is very proud that Ofsted also noted “pupils are happy and behave well. Classrooms are calm and pupils are keen to succeed.”
Their close-knit team work hard to ensure every child at the school have the opportunity to fulfil their individual potential in all walks of life at school, beyond and in the future.
