This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious teacher to join a passionate team at the Skegby Junior Academy.

The Skegby Junior Academy is a small building set in beautiful grounds, with open green spaces including a large field and planting area (along with their own chickens). The building also has a generous hall, a community meeting room and onsite kitchen. The Academy offers a calm, happy and caring place to learn and is committed to providing the very best education for pupils that is focused on their needs.

The current Primary staff pride themselves on having an outstanding team who are committed to providing the very best education for pupils that is focused on their needs. We are looking for a qualified teaching professional who will reflect this. You must be passionate about education and have a dynamic approach to classroom learning as well as being able to demonstrate a range of behaviour management strategies and teaching skills.

The successful candidate will be joining a forward thinking Academy where first class professional values and high standards of behaviour are highly valued. Despite the small size of the Academy the training opportunities are maximised. The Senior Leadership Team aim to support every member of staff in their professional development to develop a happy environment in which to teach, work and learn. The network of support and challenge extends beyond the Academy due to the nature of the Greenwood Foundation Trust which provides access to a wealth of expertise and facilities.
