Wanstead Church School is a one-form-entry primary school with a nursery. It serves an area of East London which is close to lots of exciting learning opportunities in the local community and has excellent travel links to venues across London. We are a committed, enthusiastic and friendly team, motivated by our aim to develop each person’s gifts in the spirit of the Gospel message. Standards of attainment and progress are high; we were graded ‘Good’ during our last Ofsted Inspection and ‘Outstanding’ during our diocesan inspection as an Anglican School. We have a bright and attractive school in which relationships thrive, learning is fun and a strong sense of community. There is always something different happening in school and we actively seek opportunities to celebrate our achievements! Our children are looking for a teacher who is fair, enthusiastic and full of energy; loves to teach and loves to learn.

For candidates looking to make the next step in their career we are able to offer a TLR to candidates with the appropriate skills and experience; if you have strengths in leading learning for English (KS2) or Computing please share this on application.
