At Holland Junior School we are very proud of our fantastic team of dedicated teachers who make learning fun through a creative curriculum, exciting lessons and a commitment to excellence for all.

Our happy school is situated in a quiet, green location just a short drive from the M25 and on the Surrey/Kent border.

We are really good at learning from each other and taking time to support one another.

What can we offer you?

  • An opportunity to work with a fantastic team in a well-resourced school
  • A school implementing cutting edge IT provision
  • A school set in lovely grounds with great outdoor facilities including a wildlife area, an archaeological dig and a new outdoor classroom

We strongly recommend a visit to our school to meet the children and the staff.

Hand in hand with our families, we have high expectations which nurture the successes, growth and happiness of every child. Children will leave our school with lasting memories and the skills to blossom in their future.

Our caring ethos allows us to see every child in our learning community as a unique individual. We believe in making a difference for every child and that all children have unique talents and abilities to offer the world. It is our job to nurture these and support the development of each child’s potential to enable them to take up their rightful place in their community. We pride ourselves in preparing our pupils not just for tests, but for the tests of life.

We demonstrate our commitment to our learning community through our school values of kindness, respect, responsibility, honesty, perseverance and positivity. We believe that nurturing and promoting these values in our school community leads to greater resilience and improved mental and emotional wellbeing in our pupils. Our school is a happy, friendly, caring and safe environment where each and every child is valued for the contribution they make.  Our fantastic indoor and outdoor learning environment encourages our children to explore, discover and question through a range of exciting opportunities.  Come and see our amazing Forest School for yourselves!

Our 2 form entry junior school serves the community of Holland and Hurst Green on the outskirts of Oxted in Surrey. We are surrounded by green fields and have good access to local transport, as well as a large staff car park. We are fortunate in having strong links with both the local infant schools and the main secondary school, making transition into and on from the school a smooth process.

We are proud of our achievements across the broad spectrum of the school which is noted for its caring, supportive environment as well as its improving academic results.
