Seymour Road Academy is a 3-11 primary school located in East Manchester, less than 3 miles from the centre of Manchester. It is one of three academies within the Wise Owl Trust.

Graded as ‘good with an outstanding EYFS’, the staff at Seymour Road have developed a knowledge and skills rich curriculum construct, putting our children at its centre. Our aim is for our children to foster a love of learning and encourage their curiosity in the world around them.

The staff at Seymour Road are ambitious, committed, hardworking and relentless in their drive to make a genuine difference to our children and their families. We have high expectations of all of our children and their future successes and as part of our bespoke character education offer, we want to prepare our children for the ‘test of life, not a life of tests’. Our vision is to remove barriers, raise aspirations and build futures.

To continually develop our staff, we provide high quality CPD through a combination of in school training, external training as well as trust wide CPD.

Seymour Road Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff to share that commitment.
