Class Teacher

Two class teachers required for September 2015. One teacher for Nursery and the other for KS1 or KS2.

Coppermill Primary school is a one-form entry primary school with a total of 300 pupils on roll with additional classes in Year 2, Year 4 and Year 6. We have our own 40 place Nursery which runs in the mornings and afternoons.

The school is located in a community that is culturally diverse; the school population consists of 23 different ethnicities and benefits from 22 languages spoken by pupils at our school. We pride ourselves as a harmonious community with high expectations and aspirations for all our pupils.

We are seeking a dynamic, committed and enthusiastic class teacher to join our highly motivated team. You will work closely with other staff members to ensure high quality learning for all our children. We are keen to move the school to outstanding following on from our most recent Ofsted inspection where the school was rated good in all areas.

The Headteacher has developed a strong team of leaders and managers who have accurately identified the school’s strengths and what they need to do to make it even better. Together they have improved teaching and pupils’ achievement since the last inspection. Ofsted March 2014
