We require for September 2015 an outstanding Classroom Teacher to have teaching responsibility for a class of Key Stage 3 learners

We are looking for an outstanding, enthusiastic and creative newly qualified teacher to join us in raising standards for our learners.

You will already be:

  • An exceptional primary trained teacher
  • Someone with a commitment to improving the outcomes and life chances of young people with complex special educational needs
  • Looking to develop your skills, experience and career in special education
  • A teacher who has the skills to continuously improve the learning experience for our children
  • Proactive, resourceful and energetic

The post will involve teaching, care and pastoral responsibility for a class of Key Stage 3 learners. Learners in Key Stage 3 are taught in class bases using a thematic approach through the International Middle Years Curriculum with some specialist teaching for practical subjects.

Brent Knoll is an all age special school for children and young people with social and communication difficulties including autism. Many of our learners also have significant learning difficulties. The school will be moving to a brand new purpose built building in Summer 2015 which will bring new and exciting opportunities for enriching the curriculum and learning.
