We are seeking to appoint an exceptional school leader and teacher to the role of teacher with Year Group Leadership responsibility. Wyvern School is a thriving and successful infant school that fully reflects the diversity of the neighbourhood. It is at the heart of Wolverton which has a strong sense of community and is in a founding partner of Wolverton Learning Trust, a co-operative partnership with Bushfield School.
We are seeking a classteacher and year group leader who is/has:
- Motivated, dedicated and enthusiastic;
- Highly skilled, diagnostic and creative in their teaching;
- Able to demonstrate a proven track record of helping young children thrive as learners and make really good progress from their starting points.
- Able to nurture each child in their care so that they grow and flourish in every way.
- Welcoming and relishes the chance to work with a strong and dedicated, staff team.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Current/recent experience of teaching and leadership ideally in Early Years/ KS1/2
- Current/ recent year group or key stage leadership
- A proven track record of consistently enabling learners, colleagues and other school leaders to maximise their potential.
- Experience in strategic school development planning, including its implementation, monitoring and evaluation
- The commitment and leadership finesse to work collaboratively with others to help propel our school from good to outstanding.
- A dedication to the inclusive ethos at Wyvern School.
