The City of Liverpool College is the largest further education college in the Liverpool City Region. With more than 600 members of staff, hundreds of courses, five campuses and over 10,000 students, we are at the forefront of education in our region.

The role:

The College Information Advisor Apprentice role is part of our marketing and communications team. This is a Level 3 apprenticeship role.

The role is an excellent opportunity to learn and develop a wide range of professional skills, ranging from administration to customer service to events planning, and to apply these skills in a busy office environment within an education setting.

The College Information Advisor Apprentice will work towards a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard. The role will include extensive training and on-the-job learning.

 

To be eligible for apprenticeship funding you must be a resident of the UK for at least 3 or more years

Opened in 1992 after being formed from a number of colleges in the city we now have 5 locations situated in the heart of Liverpool. Currently the college serves more than a third of all 16-18 year olds in Liverpool, and educates almost 12,000 learners a year. In 2018 the college achieved a pass rate of 99.6% beating the national average of 97.6% for a-level results. Within this year as well we had a 100% pass rate in modern languages.

However, the college itself is not just facts and figures. The mission statement of provide high quality skills and education by delivering opportunities for growth to all people and business of the Liverpool City region, shows inclusivity and a community understanding. The ease in which to get here helps quite a lot to. Be it driving, buses, trains or even a ferry you are never short of options. 

Being that working/living in Liverpool does offer a wide range of experiences to have. Historical buildings like the Bombed out church, Royal court theatre house or even a hidden gem like the Bluecoat School lane which boasts being the oldest building in Liverpool. The Beatles museum is a popular place to explore the band and possible find bits out about them you might not have known. Or if just unwinding and relaxing there are multiple pubs/bars, restaurants, and comedy nights to enjoy.

That’s not to say our college doesn’t offer its own fair share of experiences. Within the 5 locations the following are available;
