Hurworth School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and excellent teacher to join our team in motivating and supporting our students to ensure first class progress at this consistently over-subscribed and outstanding school.

The Hurworth School Computing / IT Department has a first class record, achieving outstanding results at GCSE.

There are currently three members of the department and the newly appointed person will be joining an outstanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with real ambition and drive to come in and contribute significantly to the department's future successes.

The successful candidate will be an individual with a passion for the subject who has an ability to convey this to their pupils in a creative, stimulating and consistent manner. You will be able to teach Computing at KS3 and crucially at Key Stage 4 to GCSE level.

Applications are welcomed from NQTs, recent entrants to the profession or experienced teachers.

Hurworth School is an 11-16 school with academy status and is the lead school in Swift Academies Trust, where it works in partnership with The Rydal Academy and Longfield Academy.
