Education at LAE is enriching and enables sixth formers to be confident, independent thinkers: we believe our Co-curricular offer is central to this. Co-curricular is at the heart of what we do and from September 2015 we will ensure our sixth formers complete a LAE Diploma, an exciting new venture which will encourage and celebrate participation and excellence in Co-curricular.

The Coordinator of Co-Curricular will be responsible for overseeing the Co-curricular programme for Year 12 and 13 which will provide the opportunities for sixth formers to complete their LAE Diploma. This programme includes: a weekly Games programme, a weekly Co-curricular programme, Sports teams, drama, music, dance, CCF and the Duke of Edinburgh.

The successful candidate will be highly organised and innovative. He/she will consolidate our existing programmes of Games and extra curricular and extend our wider offer including more opportunities for music, drama and Duke of Edinburgh. The successful candidate will lead our staff in providing excellent Co-curricular opportunities and further develop our partnerships with local organisations and with our independent school partners. The successful candidate will be highly flexible, working with all staff to promote the interests of our sixth formers, and will be highly committed to achieving a successful Co-curricular programme. A small amount of classroom teaching may also be available for the right candidate.
