At Sir William Ramsay School we are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor who will strive to help every child succeed. You would be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of regular teaching staff and ensuring effective learning takes place. You will have excellent communication and time management skills and a good knowledge of secondary education. As we work tirelessly to improve you will actively get involved with our ongoing efforts to become an outstanding school.


The post would suit someone who is able to teach a range of abilities, with a clear vision of how to maximise achievement in our students and ensure that learning is an enriching experience for all.


This role also requires a post holder who is passionate about developing the schools CPD offer and the fostering of a school-based research culture.

SEND/Hearing Impaired

We cater for a wide range of Special Educational Needs.  The design of the school allows us to admit students who are statemented for physical difficulties and hearing impairment.  This is an outstanding provision where students are given high quality support.  We also support students with an SEN statement for specific learning difficulties, moderate learning difficulties and other educational needs.
