Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our classroom support team as a Cover Supervisor. We are looking to appoint a suitably experienced Cover Supervisor/Teaching Assistant to deliver prepared, short term cover lessons to KS3 and KS4 classes. This is a permanent position, 30 hours per week, term time only.
You will need:
• An approachable, calm and friendly personality
• Excellent communication skills across all age groups
• A reliable and mature approach
• Proven ICT skills
• The ability and confidence to deliver lessons to mainstream classes across the curriculum
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Past experience in classroom support or a suitable qualification
