The Role

The governors of The Corsham School Academy Group wish to appoint an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic Teamleader for Drama.

This is an opportunity for an outstanding teacher to lead an effective Drama department.

You will need to be an outstanding practitioner who is committed to the highest quality of teaching & learning, with a proven track record of excellence.

You will need to demonstrate and give examples of:

  • Outstanding classroom practice
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Creativity
  • Effective use of data analysis
  • Systems for monitoring and evaluating

We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner with leadership qualities who can inspire students and staff. Drama makes a significant contribution to extra-curricular activities so energy and stamina are essential.

The School

The Corsham School is a well-established, high-performing specialist school, and became an Academy on 01 April 2011. We remain an 11-18 mixed comprehensive serving the community of Corsham and surrounding villages. All our staff are committed to developing creativity across the curriculum.

The Corsham School is an 11-18 comprehensive academy with just over 1100 students. We are situated in the beautiful Wiltshire market town of Corsham, within easy reach of Chippenham and Bath, and draw students from within the town and its many surrounding villages.
