Bishop Burton College is one of the leading land-based Colleges in the UK with strong and sustained growth in learner numbers. We have undergone a multi million pound campus development programme including significant investment in state of the art teaching and learning facilities, sports facilities, a commercially run farm and an international standard equestrian facility at our campus near Beverley in East Yorkshire.

A Curriculum Leader is required to coordinate the delivery and development of English and maths across all College sites and a range of curriculum areas, make significant contribution to teaching, learning and assessment and ensure full compliance with all college policies and procedures within designated areas of responsibility. The post-holder will also implement and maintain strategic development plans and lead the teaching and learning teams for GCSE English & maths to outstanding levels.

You will hold a GCSE in English and maths or an equivalent qualification and be a qualified teacher with experience of delivering English or Maths at GCSE level. You will have the ability to offer appropriate levels of support to students and colleagues as well as being able to work independently. If you are an effective communicator  and are driven by the need to help young people to succeed then we would like to hear from you.
