The School of Academic, HE and Creative Industries comprises of all A Level provision, Science, Creative Arts, Access to HE and cross college HE provision. We are currently looking to appoint a Curriculum Manager for Access and HE.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of curriculum management with specific experience of managing and developing HE provision either within an FE setting or HEI’s.

The role involves day to day management of the area and to deliver growth in the HE provision through partnerships with existing and new HEIs.

To support delivering the growth strategy in HE provision, the successful candidate will need to identify opportunities, systems and processes that will promote HE provision internally to existing learners and external applicants to HE courses.

City of Wolverhampton College is a mixed, non-denominational, further education institution located in Bilston. The school was established in 1999 and came out of a merger between Bilston Community College and Wulfrun College. Currently more than 4,500 full-time and part-time students attend the College. 

The College, which has three campuses across the city as well as specialist training academies in Telford and Worcester, offers more than 300 qualifications. Courses include, A Levels, BTECs, GSCEs, Access courses and NVQs. The school also works with the University of Wolverhampton to offer some courses in higher education.

Managers and teachers have significantly improved teaching, learning and assessment since the last inspection resulting in many more students making good progress, completing their study programme, achieving their qualifications and successfully progressing to further study, university or employment apprenticeships are of a high standard and are valued by employers.
