Barking and Dagenham College are seeking to appoint a well qualified and experienced Curriculum Manager in Motor Vehicle. You will be based at the new London Road Motor Vehicle Training Centre in Romford, Essex.

You will have experience of managing and teaching on Motor Vehicle and Engineering courses up to Level 3 with proven experience of running a successful commercial enterprise.

Located in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, Barking and Dagenham College is a large further education college providing qualifications and work skills to learners aged 14 and over. The college has seen extensive redevelopment and modernisation since its founding, and as a result can boast of a wide range of different teaching and recreational facilities. The college also works closely with external providers and business partners, in order to provide some teaching and work-experience off-site for students who require it.

Barking and Dagenham College offers a huge range of courses for learners of every kind, young and old, full and part-time. Of particular importance are courses aimed at 16-18 school-leavers, with a number of A-level and BTEC courses being run by the college, as well as foundation degrees for students looking to go into higher education. The college itself does actually offer a limited number of higher education degree courses, with students able to take advantage of the college's location and flexible financial offerings.
