We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner to lead our English Department from September 2024. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and learning in English and will have the ability to motivate students and develop staff to share that enthusiasm.

As Curriculum Team Leader, you will be able to inspire effective teaching and learning within the department and foster a climate of collective responsibility for students’ success. You will understand the importance of data as a tool to track student progress and will identify a wide range of evaluation strategies to lead the development in all aspects its success.

This position would suit an experienced teacher seeking to progress their career in a friendly and supportive school. We have extensive experience of providing excellent mentoring and support to new staff.

We are an iPad school with all staff and students receiving an iPad (along with regular CPD on how to use it) to support teaching and learning.

The Radcliffe School is a co-educational secondary comprehensive located in Milton Keynes. It has around 1,190 students aged 11-18, 125 of whom attend the Sixth Form.

Radcliffe has dedicated provision for students who have autistic spectrum disorders. Although the vast majority of learners are educated on a single site, a small number of older pupils do make use of off-site provision for vocational courses.
