The Role

To provide effective administrative support as a member of the Business Support Data Team, completing digital enrolment timely and accurately, whilst ensuring college policy, audit and conditions of funding requirements are met.

The successful candidate will have excellent administrative and communication skills, high computer literacy and be highly efficient and organised. They will have excellent attention to detail and be able to identify and rectify errors. They will be articulate and able to deal sensitively with a variety of situations to support the student experience. The ability to be clear and assertive whilst remaining calm and composed is essential.

Position Description

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  1. To enrol students and maintain excellent record keeping, checking for data compliance and ensuring regulations are adhered to.
  2. To assess student’s data and provide an accurate assessment for fees to maximise funding and compliance.
  3. To provide support to ensure student data is validated for ILR submission, providing support to collect missing information.
  4. Auditing enrolment documents to ensure compliance.
  5. Maintaining excellent record keeping and archiving.
  6. Maintaining knowledge as an advanced user in ProSolution for student records and data.
  7. Process student withdrawals.
  8. Process student change requests.
  9. Support classroom audits.
  10. Respond to queries for student reference requests.
  11. To support other College wide activity such as enrolment and invigilation at peak periods.
  12. To Participate in any other duty appropriate to grade and service needs as determined by management.
  13. To adhere to college policies and procedure including Safeguarding, Health and Safety, GDPR, Equality and Financial Regulations.
  14. To contribute fully to the mission and values statement of the College, ensuring its effective implementation in all aspects of College life.
  15. To participate in professional development, training, and appraisal processes.

Opened in 1992 after being formed from a number of colleges in the city we now have 5 locations situated in the heart of Liverpool. Currently the college serves more than a third of all 16-18 year olds in Liverpool, and educates almost 12,000 learners a year. In 2018 the college achieved a pass rate of 99.6% beating the national average of 97.6% for a-level results. Within this year as well we had a 100% pass rate in modern languages.

However, the college itself is not just facts and figures. The mission statement of provide high quality skills and education by delivering opportunities for growth to all people and business of the Liverpool City region, shows inclusivity and a community understanding. The ease in which to get here helps quite a lot to. Be it driving, buses, trains or even a ferry you are never short of options. 

Being that working/living in Liverpool does offer a wide range of experiences to have. Historical buildings like the Bombed out church, Royal court theatre house or even a hidden gem like the Bluecoat School lane which boasts being the oldest building in Liverpool. The Beatles museum is a popular place to explore the band and possible find bits out about them you might not have known. Or if just unwinding and relaxing there are multiple pubs/bars, restaurants, and comedy nights to enjoy.
