City and Islington College is a highly successful College judged Outstanding on all measures by Ofsted with an ambitious growth plan and outstanding financial health. The College operates from five specialist centres across the London Borough of Islington.

Our Sixth Form College based at the Angel, Islington is the College's academic centre for 16-18 year olds with nearly 1600 students following A level programmes. With 30 years' experience of successfully offering A level provision to students from all over London, our pass rates are consistently above the national average and the Sixth Form College is regularly over-subscribed.

Following the promotion of the current post holder to Director of the SFC, we are seeking an innovative Deputy for the Sixth Form College to help lead the centre to continued excellence. You will be responsible for line managing both curriculum and student service managers and will lead on school liaison, admissions and enrolment for the SFC.

Our successful candidate will have substantial experience of A level provision with a strong track record of curriculum & people management. An inclusive approach, together with the ability to inspire staff and students, is also of key importance.
