Values and Vision

St Michael’s Grammar School’s mantra is: ‘Pro Ecclesia Dei’. This translates to: ‘For the Church of God.’ The school wants every parent to be actively involved in the academic lives of their children. The pupils should aim to become a member of the local community, by participating in a range of events that take place. The school teaches the students to have entrepreneurial skills. They are encouraged to work in groups, during class activities, use their listening skills and present new ideas to the class.  The children also learn to be leaders from taking part in these classroom tasks. The students are valued for taking part in extra-curricular activities. This includes sports, like tennis, soccer, softball, hockey and basketball, and performing arts, such as drama and music. Students can also compete in swimming competitions. The pupils should develop academically, but also spiritually, personally and physically as well. Students are valued for being respectful and kind to those they come across throughout their lives.
