Job overview

We are proud of our Maths Team at Lilian Baylis Technology School. Results are improving year on year and new and innovative ideas are being implemented. We teach GCSE Maths and Statistics and AS and A-Level Maths and Further Maths. We have excellent relationships with local universities and a number of Maths Ambassadors support the school. Students are taught in classes of 20.

You will be an outstanding classroom teacher who is eager to lead KS3 or KS4 Maths under the Team Leader Maths. You will have outstanding subject knowledge and be able to teach Maths from Y7 level 2 to A* at A-Level standard. You will understand the importance of improving our KS2-4 progress and be able to lead a number of initiatives to improve it.

Lilian Baylis Technology School is a mixed, 11-18, inner city multicultural school located in a new building at Vauxhall, London. In February 2013 OfSTED stated we were 'outstanding in all aspects'. In addition our KS2-4 Value Added has been in the top 20% for the last 10 years and our KS4-5 Value Added was in the top 10% last year for academic and applied courses.
