HTG is a very popular and oversubscribed non-selective two form entry primary school and is part of Haberdashers’ Aske’s Hatcham College. The academic outcomes for our children at all levels are very good. In 2014 the school received an ‘outstanding’ rating from OFSTED. We are seeking an ambitious and committed educationalist to support the Head teacher in leading this exceptional primary school.
The role
To deliver outstanding teaching and leadership, ensure that all young people educated within the Primary phase of Haberdashers’ Aske’s Hatcham College, a 3 -18 all through school, reach their full, primary phase potential and leave the primary stage of their education fully equipped to be successful at the secondary stage of their education.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will need:
- To have strong strategic leadership and excellent management skills
- To lead by example and be a positive role model for all staff
- To support the Head Teacher and Executive Principal in developing and communicating a clear strategic vision of how to develop the primary successfully
- To develop a classroom environment and teaching practice which secures effective learning across the breadth of the National Curriculum
