Blaydon West Primary School is situated in the heart of the Blaydon community and provides a positive, inclusive atmosphere; there is a strong commitment to provide the best for each and every child. The Governors and Head Teacher of this happy and successful school are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and inspirational Deputy Head Teacher who will have a key role in our strong leadership team.

You will:

• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a clear vision for securing outstanding practice across the school.
• Have experience of leadership at middle or senior level with a proven track record of school improvement.
• Possess the skills, knowledge and ability to motivate and inspire colleagues.
• Be committed to working in partnership with staff, parents, pupils and governors to make a significant contribution to the wider work of the school.
