A vacancy for a Deputy Head teacher responsible for Data & Assessment has become available at Brook Community Primary School; -  a rapidly improving, welcoming and vibrant community primary school in the heart of Hackney overseen by the Principal of Mossbourne Community Academy, Peter Hughes and led by Headteacher, Kazia Fulmyk. This position arises as result of a forthcoming career progression for the current Deputy Headteacher. The Governing Body and the Head Teacher wish to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic, outstanding and experienced leader  with the knowledge, vision, courage and personal qualities to build on the school's achievements and successes to move it forward in its next phase of development.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of a new Strategic Leadership Team, dedicated to giving the children the best life chances possible and to building the futures they deserve in a school with huge potential and high ambitions.

The right candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • passion about children's high quality learning and engagement
  • the ability to motivate, inspire and challenge to ensure high aspirations are met
  • the ability able to work with diligence, be proactive, analytical and self-reflective
  • the character of a positive, cheerful and caring role model
  • a proven ability to engage with vulnerable pupils and champion their needs
  • a keen attitude to work in partnership with the Headteacher and fellow members of the SLT
