Do you want to join Sheriff Goodbook and his friends here at Childs Hill for lots of lively learning and a whole heap of fun? Childs Hill is the perfect next step on the leadership ladder for an ambitious and talented cowboy or cowgirl who is ready to become our new ‘favourite’ deputy!

OK, OK, enough of the horsing around! The Sheriff may be just one of the characters you will meet at CHS, we do love an excuse to dress up, but there are hundreds of other good reasons to come and work here. Our school is growing in every way; from the love of learning we instill in our amazing pupils to the skills and abilities of our wonderful staff. Our school is a happy and safe learning community where each and every person builds the confidence to aim high. Our learning community includes ‘Pathways’ (Autistic Resource Provision) and Childs Hill Children’s Centre. Strong relationships are at the heart of everything we do; we are the only primary school in the UK to have been award the Restorative Services Quality Mark.  Everyone is valued and everyone achieves.

We are seeking a high quality leader who is able to get the very best from children, families and colleagues. They must have the highest expectation of themselves and the whole school team. They will have great people skills and lots of knowledge and experience from across the primary age range that will help to develop and enhance our already high quality provision.
