Deputy Headteacher

Our Lady of Mount Carmel is a popular school with enthusiastic, well-motivated and hardworking staff and pupils. The Governors wish to appoint a highly motivated, ambitious, innovative and inspirational leader to support the school on its journey to Outstanding. We are looking for a committed and practising Catholic with a strong personal faith and a clear vision of the distinctive role of Catholic Education.

We are looking for someone with:

• A clear vision and strong commitment to Catholic education
• excellent teacher and subject leader expertise who can lead by example
• The ability to drive school improvement
• A passion to lead on assessments through the new Curriculum
• Effective communication skills and a commitment to working in partnership with the leadership team, staff, governors, parents, parishes and the community
• The willingness to share the vision of the Headteacher and staff in the drive from good to outstanding
