The Governors of St Matthew’s Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint a proactive, motivated and inspiring Deputy Headteacher to help lead our school to become an outstanding school. After our good OFSTED recently, we are confident that we have the team to make this a reality. Our children are the most important part of the school and we would like to appoint a Deputy Headteacher that will lead learning in such a way that they will do even better.

We are looking for:

  • Somebody with a passion for teaching and learning;
  • An approachable, innovative and confident leader with good interpersonal skills;
  • An excellent classroom practitioner with experience across the primary phase;
  • Somebody with the ability to motivate, lead and inspire colleagues;
  • Somebody who can fully support and enhance the Christian ethos of the school;
  • Somebody with a proven track record of raising standards in a primary school.
