We are seeking an innovative and passionate leader who can drive standards in the curriculum. To work alongside a Headteacher who will provide the support to develop you with your next steps in your career.

The school:

We are a larger than average primary school in West London. Collaboratively we work hard to achieve the best outcomes for our children. We offer our pupils a personalised approach and many interventions to support their learning and development. Our large team of support assistants, alongside the pastoral team, provide links between parents and teachers to create a cohesive community.

We are looking for a Deputy Head Teacher who:

  • Has very high expectations of all and will inspire, challenge and encourage staff to achieve the best outcomes for themselves and our pupils.
  • Is able to take a strategic role in curriculum development and is innovative in improving teaching and learning.
  • Is an inspirational and outstanding classroom practitioner who leads by example and who motivates, inspires and challenges staff and children to be passionate about their learning.
  • Has a proven track record of raising achievement and developing children to be confident and compassionate.
  • Is an experienced leader who is able to deputise for the Head Teacher.
  • Will become a deputy DSL in support of our safeguarding of children.
  • Will work diligently to implement the vision and values of Cherry Lane Primary School.
