We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly effective individual to lead the Sixth Form.

Ruislip High School is situated in the London Borough of Hillingdon; the school is close to excellent transport links, occupies newly opened buildings on a green field site and is served by good primary schools. The school opened in September 2006 for one hundred and fifty Year 7 students and now has a school population of approximately nine hundred and ninety students. In June 2014, Ruislip High school secured a strong set of external examination results. 74% of all students attained five or more GCSE qualifications (or equivalents) including English and Mathematics. At A level, 73% of all grades awarded were A* - C with an average point score of 760.

The successful applicant will:

  • be an excellent classroom teacher, including a proven success record at Key Stage 5
  • have a good understanding of the current educational developments, especially those relating to post-sixteen education
  • have the highest expectations of students
  • have a proven record as a member of a school’ senior leadership team

Ruislip High School, based in Middlesex, is a secondary academy for girls and boys between the ages of 11 and 18. Currently there are 1300 students enrolled at the school, located in Hillingdon. It opened in 2006 and was converted to academy status in on April 1, 2014.
