Deputy Headteacher - Learning and Teaching

We are looking for an outstanding senior leader who will be focused on securing the best possible outcomes for our students.

You will have a track record of impact in school leadership and a range of skills which complement those of the existing leadership team. Key to our rapid recent improvement, you will have a relentless focus on learning and teaching. You will be ambitious for the students and also for yourself.

You will:

• be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a deep understanding of pedagogy
• set the highest standards in every area and lead by example
• have experience of curriculum development
• have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• have whole school experience of effectively using student data to raise achievement.

Initially, responsibilities will focus on the development and quality assurance of learning and teaching and on the provision and development of the curriculum. Responsibilities within the Leadership Group will be rotated over a period of time to ensure professional development.
