We are seeking to appoint a non-class based deputy headteacher to join our warm and vibrant school from September 2024.

We require a deputy headteacher who will work in close partnership with our Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to continue to develop our aspirational culture focussed on building capacity for consistently outstanding teaching and learning, and high expectations for all aspects of school life at Phil & Jim. The over-arching purpose of the role is to continue to develop our vision for outstanding and inclusive quality of education for all our children.

 

We are looking for someone who can:

-         Deputise in the headteacher’s absence

-         Demonstrate a clear understanding of what constitutes outstanding teaching and learning

-         Inspire and motivate staff, parents, carers and children 

-         Demonstrate high standards of interpersonal and organisational skills

-         Show commitment to ensuring equality of opportunity for all our learners

-         Be a dynamic, imaginative and creative practitioner with high expectations for all in our team
