About Us:

At the Lion Academy Trust, we're not just shaping young minds; we're nurturing future leaders, innovators, and changemakers. Our commitment to excellence and inclusivity drives everything we do, and now, due to the expansion of our Trust, we're seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join us in a unique and newly created role as a Deputy Head who will work across all of our primary schools in the Wellingborough Hub.

Why This Role?

This isn't just any Deputy Head position - it's a chance to be part of something truly special. As a newly created role within our outstanding Trust, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children that attend our setting. Whether you're an emerging leader hungry for a chance to make an impact or a seasoned senior leader seeking fresh challenges, we want to hear from you.

What We're Looking For:

Above all, we're searching for someone with the right attitude and disposition - someone who is relentless in their pursuit of excellence and unwavering in their commitment to providing the very best educational offer for our students. Under the guidance of our Executive Principal, you'll add capacity to our leadership teams, leading and/or supporting on various aspects of school improvement, including CPD, teacher and middle leaders development, behaviour, attendance, and safeguarding.

Your Role:

This role will be as dynamic and diverse as our Trust itself. From spearheading professional development initiatives to driving improvements in behaviour and attendance, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our schools' success. Don't worry if you don't have direct experience in all areas of school leadership - we'll provide you with high-quality training and guidance through a comprehensive induction program.

Why Join Us?

  • Make an Impact: Your work will directly impact the lives of children and families in the Wellingborough community.
  • Professional Growth: We're committed to your development and offer opportunities for career advancement within our Trust all the way through to Headship.
  • Innovation: Join a forward-thinking organisation where we aim to prepare our children for the future with our bespoke curriculum.
  • Collaborative Culture: Work alongside passionate educators who are dedicated to making a difference every day.
