Copenhagen International School (CIS) is an independent mainstream all-through school for mixed gender students between the age of 3 and 19 years old. Lessons are taught primarily in English and as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School it offers the IB Primary Years, IB Middle Years, and IB Diploma curriculum Programmes, with students working towards achieving International Baccalaureate Diploma qualifications.
Founded in 1963 and becoming one of the twelve original IB Schools on 1968, the school has expanded over the years from its initial twelve pupils to around 930 pupils today. It is located in Metropolitan Copenhagen, Denmark.
