The English Schools Foundation was established in 1967 and now operates five secondary schools, nine primary schools, two all-through Private Independent Schools, four kindergartens and a school for students with special educational needs.

ESF is a modern, well-managed educational organisation, committed to offering an international education to students drawn from over 50 countries. The curriculum, leading to the International Baccalaureate, is adapted to Hong Kong, and the Asia Pacific region. DIRECTOR, EDUCATION

The Position Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Director, Education leads and oversees the work of the Education team to support, monitor and challenge schools to ensure that :

• standards of achievement are high
• there is a culture of inclusion and high expectation
• students of all academic abilities make good progress
• leadership in schools is effective
• the quality of teaching and learning is excellent
• the curriculum is broad, balanced and relevant to students
• professional development of staff is of high quality

The Candidate The candidate should possess significant leadership and management experience within a relevant educational setting including a post of responsibility at a regional or national level.

Experience of inclusive education and special educational needs is desirable. He/she should have a first degree, a teaching qualification and a higher degree.
